RELATIONSHIPS

hhau'fih - Pride

Sam Winchester
Supernatural

[livejournal.com profile] notadamndemon
"Sometimes we lose our way. If we're lucky, though, we get pulled back before it's too late."
Ssam - The first person Rhiow met - not counting the people she ran into in the pod caverns while covered in slime. Rhiow instantly identified Sam as a kindred spirit, and after hearing his description of Hunters from his world, identified him as someone who should have been offered the Oath. She and Sam have been through quite a bit together on the ship. When Sam got infested with Schmuz and decided to stand up for the Yeerk, Rhiow was one of the only crew members to take his side.

Dean Winchester
Supernatural
"Not about being easy, it's about getting my brother safe before I lose him."
D'hean - Rhiow is generally wary of the older of the Winchesters. Although they get along well enough, she recognizes that Dean's emotional state is much more volatile than his brother's. Dean is easier to anger, as Rhiow discovered when Sam was infested with the Yeerk. Rhiow mothers Dean a little, even while Sam is certainly on equal terms with her.
Tycho Celchu
Star Wars

[livejournal.com profile] sonofalderaan
"You want me to think of you as my wingman, here on the ground."
Hhy'shho - Rhiow owes Tycho a rather sizeable debt. When Grand Central Station was damaged during fighting with the Nightmare King, Tycho allowed Rhiow to stay in his quarters with him while it was being repaired. She considered it your standard ehhif--and-Person symbiotic relationship and of course adopted him as pride. In the course of the whole thing, she herself got adopted as Rogue Squadron's mascot. While she hasn't seen Tycho in a while, he has a special place in her heart.

Castiel
Supernatural
"We do not chose to be what we are, we are made that way. To be obedient, unthinking soldiers. Questioning orders, siding with humanity ... there are consequences."
Hh'as-tiel - Rhiow isn't quite sure what to make of Castiel. He should be a wizard, that much is certain, especially since he used to be a Power. He's in-pride by virtue of Sam and Dean - since they call him family, and Rhiow considers them pride, then Castiel is pride by extension. Powers make her nervous, though, even former powers.
Arhu
Feline Wizards

[livejournal.com profile] seeing_eye_cat
"I See everything, and I'm trying to See certain parts of it, but they're all happening now here."
Arhu is the only other Person on the ship, and the only person that Rhiow knew from before Stacy. His arrival is comforting to her in a lot of different ways - during the Nightmare King, she received a vision of an Arhu who had given himself over to the Lone Power, and she struck with a lethal spell almost without thinking. Now that Arhu has popped, Rhiow has irrefutable evidence that she didn't kill him out of reflex. But more than that, she has another wizard on board with which to hash out the problems she's been having with her wizardry.

Friends and Colleagues

[livejournal.com profile] thekohakuriver
Haku
Spirited Away
"You're a good cat, Rhiow, and a good friend. I know you'll live this life well."
Although most smart People stay away from the Powers as much as possible, Rhiow felt drawn to Haku the first time she met him. He gave her a good warning about the interdimensionality of the ship, and from then on she considered him an ally. Their relationship deepened when Haku was corrupted by the Nightmare King and Rhiow bent her wizardry to help him. After saving him from the corruption and making sure he had a river built in the city, Haku granted her one of her lives back. They're technically even, but Rhiow considers herself to be in his service as one of the Powers.
Kang
Dragonlance

[livejournal.com profile] governorkang
"We knew what she was. We chose to follow her, even after her armies had lost the war."
Hh'ann - Although the two of them got off to a rather rocky start, partially due to meeting before Rhiow had fully adjusted to the ship, Rhiow considers Kang to be one of her closest friends. The only reason she doesn't consider him pride is because she doesn't want to remind him of the family who still hasn't woken up from the pods. Rhiow spends a great deal of time at Kang's tavern, The Drunken Dragon, and is a frequent fixture on the bar.

Wedge Antilles
Star Wars
"...I'll put her on as a backup pilot. If we absolutely need her, she'll go in."
We'hh-sh - Due to Rhiow's close association with Tycho - and the fact that Wedge was Tycho's roommate for a while - Rhiow got to know the general fairly well. She respects his ability as a military commander, and still feels a little bad for convincing him to take on one of the worst thorns in his side - Asuka.
Goliath
Gargoyles

[livejournal.com profile] not_philistine
"Our crew surrounds us with life worth protecting. But a lonely life it is, without loved ones and family to protect among them."
Hh'oliath - Rhiow rescued Goliath from the Nightmare King when he was first trapping people in waking dreams. Since then, the two have built up a relationship of mutual respect. If Goliath needs her help, Rhiow will give it - no questions asked. After all, New Yorkers have to stick together, don't they?

[livejournal.com profile] starlight_ace
Nanoha Takamachi
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS
"Variable magic equations aren't really my strong suit."
H'na'hnoha - Rhiow's commander, since she's in the Magical Department. She's a good commander - friendly, and with a good sense of personnel and ideas. Her magic completely and utterly baffles Rhiow though, since it doesn't follow a single rule she knows. Truth be told, Rhiow feels a little left out of the Magical Department since her wizardry is so contingent on rules, but whether she stays or not, she'll always consider Nanoha a friend.
Katara
Avatar: The Last Airbender

[livejournal.com profile] katara_canbend
"We all have to stick together and help each other, no matter what. That's just how it is."
H-t'hara - Katara was a big help to Rhiow while Haku was corrupted by the Nightmare King. It was through her help that Rhiow was able to put a river through the city, meaning that Haku now had a physical base for his power and was unlikely to be siezed by any kind of corruption again. Rhiow owes her a debt for that, and also keeps an eye on her because she's rather young.

If you were my size, I would swat you

[livejournal.com profile] agoodomen
Daimon Hellstrom
Marvel Comics
"I can hold him at bay, although I do not think we need worry about your artifacts."
Dh'aim'hon - While he did help out during Haku's corruption, Rhiow has a very low opinion of his arrogant attitude. She avoids him when she can and is calmly civil to him when she can't, but she dislikes him and makes no bones about that fact.
